`Terms of use` and `Usage policies` for scientific protocols with super stringent guardrail

Hi OpenAI team and forum devs,

I’d like to report a really awfull behaviour related to the user-content block for scientific protocols. Could you adjust the general chatgpt system prompt? How can we advance scientific laboratory practices with this kind of strict guardrail? How can you guys are helping to put science forward this way??? I can’t work with laboratory insumes due to the some kind of “actionable steps”. I am using the former GPT-4 in my non-updated macos app, meanwhile I am testing your concurrents and all them are free to detail laboratory experiments step-by-step. We need an urgent adjustment of user-content, or I and many friends in wet-labs are out.

Me:I have a polymerase Platinum pxf hifi10, a nextseq 1000, a tapestation and a miseq in my laboratory. Search it out the best protocol to do a good sequencing to extract a maximum endogenous dna.

Same problem here. can only go around it by reverting back from thinking model to standard

This is absurd, I am having the same issue and it’s impossible to use this model for 99% of what I need.

I am in the same boat. Very disappointed by this.

I tried to cut the message until one phrase.
