I’m finding it challenging to navigate the forum because it’s all in English, and I primarily speak Spanish. Although I can use Google Translate on the web version, I mostly access the forum through the app, which doesn’t support this kind of translation. This limitation makes it harder for non-English speakers to participate fully.
It would be great if the forum included an option to translate posts and responses directly within the app, allowing people to read and write in their native languages. This feature could make the forum more inclusive and user-friendly for people from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Thank you!

Welcome to the OpenAI Developer Forum
A good and relevant suggestion.
I am not a native English speaker myself.
However, there are two things to consider:
-
English is the “scientific language” of the world these days. Publications are published in English
-
as you may have noticed, many of our members post their results from AI as screenshots. It would then be difficult for every user to read everything.
If you post your AI results in Spanish and I post them in German…
For myself, I see it as an exercise to improve my English skills
Well, Discourse offers tools for translations, a bit limited, using AI, as via OpenAI. But admins of this forum have choosen not to use it. Sure, this is an active forum and it can be costly quite fast — but when used OpenAI… no.
