I’m a paying ChatGPT Plus subscriber, and for the past 3 months I’ve been using GPT-4(o) daily — for work, creativity, and accessibility needs. Until recently, everything worked great. But now I’m facing several critical issues that severely affect usability:
(1) GPT-4o response speed is too slow
Most replies now take 15–30 seconds, even for simple prompts.
It used to be 3–5 seconds, consistently.
Now it feels slower than free models like DeepSeek or Claude.
As someone relying on ChatGPT daily, this is unacceptable — and makes the paid subscription feel pointless.
(2) Image generation limits
You’ve introduced a hard cap of 10 images per hour.
This makes creative work impossible.
I used to generate 50–100 images in a row — one of the main reasons I subscribed to Plus.
Now I’m constantly waiting, interrupted, and losing productivity.
(3) UI issues (Read Aloud button & accessibility)
The “Dislike” and “Read Aloud” buttons are too close — I often misclick.
I suggested a keyboard shortcut (like F2) for “Read Aloud” to help users with disabilities.
The support response: “submit a form.” No follow-up. No result.
I’m a disabled user. I rely on speed, voice, and keyboard-friendly design.
Now I’m losing efficiency and accessibility — the two reasons I trusted this product.
What I’m asking for:
(1) Restore GPT-4o’s fast response time — or be transparent about why it slowed down
(2) Increase the image generation limit — ideally 40+ per hour
(3) Take UI and accessibility feedback seriously — these aren’t minor annoyances
(4) Respect Plus users — we’re not asking for miracles, just fairness
