Speech to text needs to be fixed ASAP

We’ve lost the ability to edit prompts when using speech to text. Prompts are sent instantly. Sometimes confusing ChatGPT because it misheard something.
This is vital, especially for non native english speakers and the disabled who rely on voice transcription. It will also use more resources if users have to make additional corrective prompts.
This is a problem.

Thanks! I thought it was just me and maybe some feature I mistakenly activated. This happened before months ago and I had to start adding the prompt “don’t respond yet” at the end of incomplete thoughts/voice notes. Then one day it switched back to allowing me to stack voice notes in one message and it was smooth sailing …until yesterday.

Yes. It’s very annoying. And it produces junk responses because you can’t correct your input.
