Source code from gist gets confused by other code

I have provided the engine with a private raw GIST (that I can access from my browser in incognito mode) but the source code from the gist is not the source code the engine believes is in the gist. It is referring to a set of functions that is completely non-existent in my code, it’s as if it’s getting a completely different result than what is posted. Anyone else experience the same?
