Settings for making a Custom Assistant API

I am making a chatGPTs via assistant and api, but it only lets me use chatgpt3 and I would like to use 4 and it does not let me upload files, why? Which function allows me to access them?

Incorrect, you can use create Assistant using GPT4 Model. Can you show us where it’s not letting you upload files?

Is it your Personal OpenAI account? Or you’re using under some Organization. Your Organization might be blocking the models. Check:
