Hi OpenAI team,
I’m currently working on integrating our app with ChatGPT and am very excited about the new Apps SDK and the possibility to create custom UI experiences directly within the chat interface.
As an EU-based developer, I understand that the Apps feature isn’t yet available to end users in my region. However, I would expect (and strongly hope) to still be able to develop and test apps in anticipation of the broader EU rollout — at least in a local or sandboxed development mode.
Could you please confirm whether EU developers are currently able to build and test apps locally, or if there’s a plan to allow pre-release access for development purposes? It would be extremely helpful to prepare our integration ahead of time so we’re ready when the feature becomes available in Europe.
