I would like to suggest a feature that allows users to prevent ChatGPT from dynamically changing the tab title.
Currently, the tab title updates based on conversation status, which can be distracting for some users.
A simple toggle in the settings (e.g., “Keep tab title static”) would be a great addition.
This would be helpful for users who prefer consistency in their browsing experience.

I need this so I can get auto hotkey to switch to the correct tab, so at least needs to mention chatgpt in the title.
It’s frustrating! I have so many projects and I start the prompt out with the title and every time it automatically changes the titles I have to go back in and change it every time! Please change to make this static

Thanks for sharing this feedback. I understand how frustrating that can be when managing multiple projects.
At the moment, tab titles are system-controlled and may update dynamically based on the conversation, so there isn’t a way to keep them static yet. I’ll pass this along to the team for consideration.
