I would like to suggest adding a document deletion feature to ChatGPT’s file/document storage.
I have encountered situations where I accidentally uploaded the same document more than once. Currently, I would like a simple way to permanently delete duplicate or no-longer-needed documents so they do not continue taking up storage space.
Ideally, users could select an uploaded document from their file/library area and choose “Delete,” with a confirmation step to prevent accidental deletion.
This would give users better control over their stored files, help prevent unnecessary storage usage, and make document management easier.
