This is great, but we need the same for chatgpt web app.
As a power use, and sticking to browser based workflow, I miss shortcuts for temporary chats, for voice start/stop, etc. Anything to help with that?
The little floating question mark icon that was getting in the way (and hidden by my own CSS customization) had its options placed into the user menu, including “keyboard shortcuts” - which creates this pop-up info.
There’s also a new dark pattern: type a slash into the chat input box. Receive popup for the buttons there already, redundant for what the AI does automatically when you ask, trying to make the platform look feature-filled:
So even more reason to remove message input buttons you don’t need to see:
You can make your own ChatGPT → Feature Requests topic here in the forum for things you’d think would be improvements for all, as your ideas for what you miss I don’t think were ever there.
Another keyboard shortcut to be added at least is passive and does nothing to the UI if it doesn’t collide with a browser’s own keyboard actions.
