Not working for me on the web, Intel Macbook, Chrome. Noticed it a couple days ago and thought something might be done to resolve it by now. Still not working.

I am using Chrome on a Mac and Read aloud is not working. I press the speaker icon and hear nothing. I used to be able to have a conversation not i cannot.

Yes. Not working on Chrome on Mac book Pro 10.13.7, and Safari and Chrome on a Mac book Pro 12.7.6 OS. So not specific to any system it seems. Still not working. Works on iPhone 17.5 iOS, however.
Does not work for me since 16th of May. Tried different VPNs - does not help.
ChatGPT speech feature is not working on Google Chrome for me too it was working earlier but now when I click on speech icon nothing happens

Yeah, same problem Windows 10 chrome & edge, & chrome on android, & even the app on android doesn’t have a read-aloud button in the chats

Any word on when the Read Aloud feature will be fixed? They have to know by now, its been days.

This seems to be a glitch in the web design, not the actual backend infrastructure. If anything, it’s the humans at fault here.

Same here. I have been using Wavenet for Chrome as work around. I hope they get it fixed soon.
Same here! Somehow it works on phones tho, which is surpising, so now i just open the chat on the phone.
