RANDOM Codex weekly quota reset still happening. WHY?!?

I thought OpenAI stopped the weekly random quota resets? I thought they added a “feature” that queued them up and allowed non-Linux users with the desktop version to then use them whenever they wanted. I forgot the name because since I’m a Linux ONLY user, I do not have access to that. Despite not being able to access and build-up of weekly resets, I was VERY HAPPY because the resets nearly always hurt me. And now, just today, it happened again. A random reset bumping the weekly expiry 3 days and to night time.

PLEASE STOP! I DO NOT WANT ANY RESET! I just want consistency and predictability. That’s all. I can live with your weekly quota. Just let it be a real weekly quota and not some random thing that pulls the rug on me and forces me to change my project plans. PLEASE STOP RESETTING THE WEEKLY. If you cannot make the feature to have it saved up and used at owner’s request, then just don’t reset it.

Attached screenshots of the reset happening today, bumping expiry from July 2 to July 5. How on earth was this a good thing? you just reduced my effective daily quota over the next 4-7 days.

It is not random. They are working on a sunday to keep things running.

and apparently forced a reset on me in the process. i can’t even access those “banked” resets because I only use Linux, and their app is not available for Linux. To my knowledge, they have not made them available via the CLI, which is where they belong. But, I can live without the “banks”. I just want them to quit resetting it randomly, like they apparently just did “manually”.
