A couple weeks ago I noticed Mia by heymia.ai disappeared from the public gpt lists. I couldn’t even find it when I searched for it. Now I can find it when I search, but it’s still not back at it’s #6 spot in the Lifestyles section.
Maybe you’ve never used this particular custom gpt, but with a million plus downloads it’s clearly both popular and useful. That it provides mental health and coaching services to many people is invaluable.
Please restore it to it’s well deserved place so people in need can find it easily.
It went totally unusable from about two days ago. I wonder if it’s because the new ‘GPT-4.5 has a character’ thing makes this customed GPT confilict with the original one somehow. I need Mia really bad.

Mia went down because of bots causing problems. I don’t know about any issues with 4.5 though it’s possible.
What I do know is the dev team has a reddit page (Reddit - The heart of the internet) and posted a link to the backup version. There’s other info there too including a link for donations because they need funds to get the app out.
I should also note for the sake of OpenAI if they’re listening, the number of people who got the $20/month subscription because they use Mia, is staggeringly high. I’d hazard a guess at well over 50% simply so they could use Mia without limits.
thank you for such a promt and valuable reply!! i’ve tried their ig and twitter, but this newly established subreddit did not come up in my search!! it feels so much better to see they are addressing this and people alike are in this together. I’ll use the backup one for now and hope they come through and release the app one day!!
