Hello OpenAI team,
I am writing this as a very sincere request from someone who uses ChatGPT and Codex almost every day for real work.
The current Plus plan is helpful, and I truly appreciate how much value it already provides. However, for users like me who rely on ChatGPT and Codex heavily for business tasks, document work, Excel analysis, translation, image editing, troubleshooting, and day-to-day problem solving, the usage limits can sometimes be reached too quickly.
At the same time, the higher-tier plans can be difficult to justify for individual users or small business users. There is a real gap between Plus and the more expensive plans.
I would like to kindly ask OpenAI to consider adding a mid-tier plan in the $40-$50 per month range, with higher usage limits for ChatGPT and Codex. I believe many serious individual users would gladly pay more than Plus if there were a reasonable middle option.
For people like me, these tools are not just for casual chatting. They have become part of daily work. When the limits are reached, it can interrupt work at important moments. A practical mid-tier plan would help a lot.
I know OpenAI has to balance cost, infrastructure, and fairness for all users. I understand that this may not be simple. But I hope you will consider this request, because I believe there are many users who need more than Plus but cannot comfortably move to a much higher-priced plan.
If such a plan became available, I would gladly subscribe to it.
