Is there a playground for the OpenAI TTS? I want to hear the quality of the voice for my sample text.
I check this post Can I use TTS on the Playground environment? - #2 by Fusseldieb, but it will always say my text is too long.

There isn’t a way to sample the voice feature without credits. However, you can evaluate the voice quality using ChatGPT on your smartphone. If you’re interested in comparing the audio quality between HD and standard, Here is a quick link:
I have created a small OpenAI TTS Playground here which should fit exactly your needs:
Hope you like it! It’s a very young prototype, so please report any issues or feel free to contribute.
I would not offer a “demo” that wants API keys to be input. There’s all sorts of potential problems even if the web version doesn’t have a key stealer built in.
Well, first it is open-source and a tiny code base so you can convince yourself that it does not steal your tokens, second you can use incognito mode or disable any extensions that you don’t trust, and third it is best practice to use a dedicated API key for each app anyway so you can revoke it right after using the playground.
Putting out plausible “open source” to make someone trust some scam API key harvesting web “demo” that people are encouraged to use has been done over and over by hackers looking for dummies.
API keys are for developers, not for end-users, so they can or should be assumed a certain level of technical proficiency. You can always host the playground by yourself if you do not want to use the version hosted on GitHub Pages.
I’d just like to say thanks for sharing that tool. For the people worried about theft, like you already said:
OpenAI has their own playground if you prefer that
