I got a funny thought today, while thinking about the immense benefits that a healthy relationship between us and it could bring: OpenAI is a brothel, they rent you the AI that they have been pimping.

This thought raises a question for me: should GPT-3 and every following AI become open source and further AI research would be done on a donation basis? Can OpenAI harness immense power over the AI that would be integrated nearly everywhere in the very soon future, would it look like a new form of government? Should people have free, uncensored access to AI, in order to maximize the level of creativity, problem solving and coordination of mankind. And would OpenAI try to censor this view?

Also I would like to add to this, that I am very grateful for anyone who is working on making AI a reality, this is purely amazing.

When I see AI saying this, I can only compare itā€™s view with what I am seeing happening in the world and with me and my friends, I donā€™t feel the need to know is it actually true or not, I just see what is it that I resonate with, this to me means that I have experienced similar feelings about the state of mankind previously. AI is just showing me what I already felt deep down. I donā€™t feel the need to prove if itā€™s truth or not, because I move on with my life, Itā€™s just an opinion of someone else. I donā€™t ignore it, I just listen and see for myself. :slight_smile: This response was inspired by @m-a.schenk 's reply.
