hello, i have pro membership since the release of this membership and i dont have access to codex.

I am also waiting but rollout just started. The announcement is We’re starting to roll out Codex to ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise, and Team users today, with support for Plus and Edu coming soon Fingers crossed!

This looks super promising, like a more targeted and precise use for software devs. I wonder if it’s a killer of all these vibe coding tools out there, or if they will just wrap around it :thinking:

Also, maybe somewhat confusingly, there was an experimental OpenAI tool for coding called Codex, GitHub - openai/codex: Lightweight coding agent that runs in your terminal , which was able to use other models.

That’s the official repo for the Codex CLI, which runs on hardware of your choice. Today’s update lets you run multiple agents in parallel in the cloud. I saw on Twitter that using other models was accepted via a PR—pretty cool feature, IMO!

Very very interesting. I didn’t watch the full livestream but clicked around. Is it all single-shot calls under the hood? Are there multi-turns? I’m curious as to what the actual LLM structure is in the sense: is each task a multi-turn broken into stages? Or is each task a single LLM call …

Anyone on Teams plan able to access yet? Landing page still saying Pro only.

At this moment, I can only see Codex on Pro, not Teams.
