Hey I wanted to know how openai charges you for api costing?
Like does it charge monthly on ur usage or daily?

The charge is monthly. You can set a limit from your account and more than the free credits will get charged accordingly

Note: If you use a few pennies a month it will roll over until there is an amount worth charging for, i.e. you won’t get a bill of $0.03 but you might for $3.03.

No idea what the cut off point is, but I got billed for my $0.53 usage last month.
