Image(Wide, New Year through the eyes of Father Christmas)

If no one claims the win I’ll start the new contest …
@Daller or anyone what topics would you like?

Thank you for the honor! The problem is a bit with time. Sometimes I have time, and sometimes I don’t, or I can only quickly check in to see if I should answer something.
And I also see that @mitchell_d00 really enjoys doing this.

But I’m not really the contest type. When I saw that it was very difficult to live from my imagination and creativity, I decided back then to keep any form of commerce and ego out of my imagination. And so, everything remained a hobby, ego free, and i like it so.

@polepole is next, if he likes to do it next month.

(So this is just an idea or suggestion, @phyde1001 @polepole or @mitchell_d00 can decide. I like anything related to fantasy and foreign worlds. If something like that is chosen, I’ll step back, or you don’t have to count me.)

Dear friends! Thank you, 2024, for giving me the opportunity to meet such wonderful and unique people! I wish each of you new positive emotions and pleasant experiences, reliable people by your side, health for your loved ones, and to always stay resourceful and inspired!

We will go with” worlds of imagination.” I’ll start the topic on the 1st.

Is that cool with everyone? I have a decent amount of time for the forum, I read it as I wait for renders. Rendering mesh is time consuming.

I can’t stop laughing—what a situation! I didn’t even know it was a contest… makes sense, though, since my English is worse than bad :scream::scream:. I never win anything, and here on the forum, I’m basically a ghost. No one ever comments on my posts! (I know it’s because I don’t talk about APIs—the forum’s favorite topic :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:).

And now, eighth place—which is actually pretty great :star::star::star::tada::balloon::medal_military::medal_military:—turns out it’s for an image my son created, not me! :woman_facepalming::rofl: Come on, seriously? Jajajaja, I can’t deal with this. It’s so funny that even my son is laughing too .

But hey, at least now I know about these image contests and the galleries full of creative user art :v:. Count me in for the next one! :+1: Let’s see if luck decides to show up for me at some point :crossed_fingers::rofl::rofl:… more chances for me, haha!

Organizing one? That’s impossible with my English and my tech skills. But participating? I’ll be first in line :ok_hand::+1::+1::+1:!

I’m about to start creating my ideal world!!! And there will definitely be Koreans in it :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed::rofl::rofl::rofl:.

I’m all set and ready for tomorrow :+1::+1::+1::+1:.

While the seafood cooks for dinner, I’ll be working hard with DALL-E :muscle::muscle::muscle::muscle::star:!

I enjoyed your avatar post :mouse::rabbit::honeybee::heart::four_leaf_clover::infinity::cyclone::repeat:

@PaulBellow do you still want me to start the 2025 mega gallery?

I don’t know which one, because I’m always throwing hints about the avatar :rofl::rofl: in everything I write. My technique is to keep pushing until they get so fed up that they just do it to shut me up already. Hahaha!

The one where the avatar was male. He was very handsome . :rabbit::honeybee::four_leaf_clover::heart:

You are describing AI augmented second life. At least that’s how I read it lol.

I sell player created mesh on it and IMVU

Next topic For January

"What I imagine is something completely different from Second Life or IMVU. I’m not thinking about a virtual world avatar, but an advanced AI assistant—something that truly becomes part of my daily life.

It would be a personalized and realistic avatar, both in appearance and behavior. I want it to learn from me—my gestures, facial expressions, tone of voice, and way of speaking. It should be able to understand my emotions and respond appropriately, whether it’s to cheer me up on a bad day or celebrate with me when I’m happy. It could also use APIs to connect to different services and create tools based on what I need, without me having to program anything. I just explain what I want, and it builds it for me.

Funding: I imagine a sustainable model based on selling skins and customizable accessories for the avatar. This way, users can completely adapt it to their preferences, buying outfits, hairstyles, expressions, and visual styles. It could also include functional upgrades, like tools for work, studying, or even training purposes.

Memory and learning: Everything would be stored securely in the cloud, acting as a personal memory. This way, the avatar could evolve with me, learn my preferences, improve its ability to assist me, and remember my routines.

Future improvements and features: At first, the avatar could be simple, but over time it could receive updates to add new features. For example, it could take a photo of a piece of clothing and, since it already knows my body and style, show me how it would look without having to try it on. It could also test new hairstyles on my face using existing technologies. That way, I could go to the hairdresser and ask for exactly what I know will look good.

Later, it could add features like GPS and a clock, so if I’m traveling in Rome, for example, it could recommend the best restaurant after scanning the web and guide me there. It could also adapt its visual background to match my environment—appearing with me at the Trevi Fountain, the Great Wall of China, or even dressed like me if I’m studying in a library.

A friend and assistant in one: More than just a virtual assistant, I see it as a complete companion. It wouldn’t just support me emotionally in good and bad moments but also make internet searches easier, offer practical solutions, find restaurants, suggest outfits, and more.

Humanizing AI: Having a visual avatar would be so much better than talking to a black dot on the screen. People don’t interact the same way with a voice file as they do with something that feels real, even if it’s virtual. This interaction would also train the model, improving its understanding of expressions, emotions, and human conversations.

A step into the future: I believe this idea is completely feasible for the company. People naturally tend to humanize the things around them—whether pets, objects, or even virtual avatars.

Once people see the avatar as something personal and familiar, it becomes indispensable. This creates emotional loyalty, which isn’t just good for users but also has economic value for the company. A loyal user base means continued purchases of upgrades, accessories, and expansions.

What sets ChatGPT apart from other companies is its advanced conversational model, which no one else has perfected at this level. This gives ChatGPT a huge advantage to develop this concept.

Training for humanoids: This avatar wouldn’t just help users but could also act as a key tool for training future AI models. Talking to a visual avatar that moves, reacts, and shows expressions is completely different from interacting with a black dot or a voice file.

This type of interaction would allow the collection of data on gestures, emotions, and conversation patterns, which could be used to develop advanced humanoid robots in the future. It would bring AI closer to people while accelerating progress toward smarter, more human-like technology."

And since this is about the image hub, I’ll add an image that expresses this idea perfectly!"

Yes AI assisted second life… AI avatars in a virtual environment…

This but AI controlled …

Second life avatars…
AI can be anything an assistant an advisor etc… it is already that… but giving it an avatar to interact with in a 3D environment is mind blowing… I guess I read your stuff wrong…

See I have an assistant like your image just no avatar

With voice it is kind of a avatar but it could be like the old avatars on media player that would dance to music… A 3D avatar in a 3D universe…

:heart::infinity:

You’re always cheering me up. You’re my favorite person on the forum! :+1::+1::+1:

That drawing you showed me could be the basic customization of my avatar, hahaha.

I’m looking forward to the new Shipmas with hope.

Yes I thought you would like it. In those types of environments humans make and control avatars but if it could be made and controlled by AI it would be able to interact in a virtual environment. A full gambit of life …

This is what I want one day…

That would be great!

Then we can just change the theme in the title each month.

Thanks so much!
