This is not a complaint — it’s a compliment for the ChatGPT image team.

I absolutely love the new image-editing workflow. Being able to create a complex image and then make specific changes step-by-step without having to start over is exactly what I’ve been wanting.

I create detailed artwork and product designs, and this makes a huge difference in how I can work with ChatGPT. I tested it on a very complex historical scene with many people, horses, wagons, animals, and other details, and then continued refining the image. The workflow worked extremely well.

Please pass along my thanks to the team responsible for it. Great job — this is a game changer for the kind of image work I do!

The bottom image was a remake. When I saw that it could edit step by step, I told it to add 2 Union Soldiers. So the top image is the result. When you used to prompt it to say, USE THE EXACT SAME IMAGE, JUST ADD 2 UNION SOLDIERS, ONE ON THE LEFT AND ONE ON THE RIGHT. Your whole image would change completely and still not the way you wanted it. That’s why I love it. Especially with the work I do.
