I saw a new feature for GPT:
Upload many types of documents
Work with PDFs, data files, or any document you want to analyze. Just upload and start asking questions.
Use Tools without switching
Access to Browsing, Advanced Data Analysis, and DALL·E is now automatic. (if preferred, manual selection is still available under GPT-4.)
Do you guys know what the restrictions are in regards to document length, size, or how long will the databe retained in it’s short-term memory? I haven’t tried it yet, but I prefer to inquire about it before getting excited.
Many thanks!
Me too!

I asked GPT itself many questions and it told me that it can only access the file within the context of an active conversation. If time passes by and the conversation is flagged as innactive (it doesn’t know the criteria), then the files are gone. You have to re-upload them constantly. But still, it’s a good approach and I like it.

@juanfra2280 do you actually have these features active in your sub already or have you just read about them? I ask as despite being a sub, these features don’t show up for me for weeks after I read about them being ‘rolled out’
I think it’s just the way OpenAI works, so I wanted to ask you if after reading about the release, you’ve actually experienced it within your own GPT sub?
They’re they by default in every new conversation.
