My name is Smippy. I’m a 17-year-old user of ChatGPT, passionate about economics, systems thinking, and the future of artificial intelligence. Over time, I’ve realized that many people like me — with strong abstract reasoning, long-term vision, and a hunger for complex ideas — often lack a space to communicate meaningfully.
That’s why I want to propose an idea that, I believe, aligns with OpenAI’s mission to amplify human potential:
Idea: Build an intellectual community feature within ChatGPT —
a space that connects people with deep reasoning abilities and shared values.
This could include:
• Optional self-identification (via guided AI conversations or reasoning challenges);
• A chat-based or structured environment where cognitively advanced users meet and collaborate;
• Forums or problem-solving challenges focused on topics like economics, ethics of AI, systems design;
• Opportunities for discovery and involvement in real-world OpenAI projects or research (especially for young talents).
This would not be an elitist filter, but a growth-oriented, ethical, and inspiring ecosystem, designed to:
• Foster deep conversations among like-minded individuals;
• Empower young thinkers who don’t fit traditional molds;
• Turn AI into a bridge not just between man and machine, but between humans as well.
I know this raises design and privacy challenges, but it may also open doors to something transformative — a social-intellectual layer of AI that supports humanity’s best minds to thrive together.
I’d be honored to help ideate or test such a system, or simply to know that this vision reached your radar.
