My custom GPT just stopped working all of a sudden.. no longer reliably calls action.. doesn’t remember the previous chat.. Can’t even read a document.
I have a lot of users who use my GPT to create Quizzes and Flashcards and its been very frustrating.
I have tried everything. changed models. rewrote the instructions. switched off browsing.. yet nothing is working reliably.
I’ve seen similar issues recently, and it can be really frustrating especially when people rely on a Custom GPT for daily workflows. If you’ve already tested different models, rewritten instructions, and disabled browsing, it sounds more like a platform-side issue than a configuration problem. I’d keep the existing GPT unchanged, gather a few reproducible examples (failed actions, document uploads, chat logs), and submit them through the support channel. In the meantime, testing with a minimal version of your GPT can also help determine whether it’s related to your instructions or a temporary service issue. Hopefully, it’s resolved soon.
