Models missing from desktop app

I’ve just upgraded to the newest version of the ChatGPT desktop app and for some or other reason I can only see the SOL and the ChatGPT 5.5 version. The LUNA and TERA models are missing from the desktop app even though I can see it on the web version as a paid subscriber on a plus plan. I can’t do anything I should do to get those models back.

I can’t seem to fathom why this would happen. As a paid subscriber you would expect the developers to make the same functionality and models available in the web version as well in the desktop app. I have followed extensive procedures to try and resolve this by deleting the cache, restarting the app, removing the app, uninstalling it, and reinstalling it. Nothing seems to solve it. In the desktop app I can only see the SOL and the ChatGPT-5 models. The Luna and Terra models are missing.

In addition to this the work mode is also missing from my desktop apps after this newest upgrade.

Never mind, cancel. The issue has been resolved. It seems that if you delete the cache and you can google how to do that for both Windows and Linux and you restart after the app upgrades for some other reason that upgrade doesn’t reset properly. Work mode it is now back and Luna Terra is now available. However just an interesting note for other users experiencing the same: the Luna and Terra models are not available for normal chat. They are only available in work mode.
