I woke up today and found that multiple conversations were missing. When I ask where the conversations are, the response essentially is to say that it has found records of the conversations, but, cannot find the conversations. Now I have no idea where the conversations are. I have never had this happen before and I’ve been a pro user for a long time. Please help. It’s almost as though whole projects were missing. Please help!!!

I understand how frustrating it must be to find that your conversations and possibly entire Projects are missing.
Here are a few things you can try::
- Confirm you’re viewing the correct account and workspace.
- Search for the missing conversation titles and check Archived chats.
- Check whether all conversations, only recent ones, or a specific Project are affected.
- If this followed a workspace migration, scroll to the bottom of the chat list, as some migrated conversations may appear there.
If they’re still missing, please contact support@openai.com with the missing Project name, approximate dates, remembered conversation titles, and screenshots. If available, you can also include a Project URL from your browser history or bookmarks.
