Mention GPTs feature doesn't work

Hey everyone,

I noticed that “mention” another GPT in a chat is now gone for me and I can’t access it anymore by typing “@” hashtag character. Is it happening only to me or this feature is now gone for everyone?

Remember that your every help is appreciated

It’s working for me on the browser version (Chrome)

This is also happening for me and a few people I work with. We’ve tried the browser version, incognito, and on desktop app. It was working for us 3 days ago, but not now.

It’s only working in a default chat.

When using a Custom GPT chat it’s not working.

So you can mention another GPT from a non-custom-GPT chat, but no anymore when within a custom-GPT chat.

Temporarily solution would be to start a basic chat and mention the desired custom GTP at once from there.

Than you can chat with that custom GPT and mention others later on.

This isn’t working for me either!

It’s broken like many items in the system.

It only works in a regular chat, not in a agent-GTP.

And when refreshing the custom chat, the mention isn’t working anymore.

It’s crap, for the workflow. Have to open a chat for every agent, copy/ paste the complete history for context, continue, close the window, continue, repeat.

Also filling the type-a-head is sometimes extreme slow, and filled with GPT’s I never used in the past months.

They fixed it.

@mentions are now also working in the Custom GPT environments.

Not working for me for past one month!

Since GPT 5.1 mentions don’t work for me again.

Anyone else having this issue?

I can’t mention GPT’s from any bot set to 5.1

When I switch the exact same GPT back to 4.x the @-shortcut starts working immediately.

It ruins my workflow, since I have to open a new chat for every GPT, copy/paste the previous thread, continue working on it, switch back manually, etc…

-edit- I found a workaround.

Once you’ve opened a 5.1 model, you can start the chat. And you can hotswap the modelnr. on the fly.

So when you need to access other GPT’s, you can swapp to 40 - and use the @ hotkey to gather the other GPT’s.

Once done, you can hotswap back revert to 5.1

It doesn’t make sense, but it works… for now.
