After upgrading to the new unified ChatGPT / Codex macos app, I can no longer find the previous ChatGPT Record mode used for recording and summarizing meetings.
In the former ChatGPT macos app, I could start a meeting recording and receive a transcript and summary. In the new unified app there is no “record button”, there is no “meeting recording option” in settings. I am referring to the meeting and audio recording feature, not the Codex “Record & Replay” workflow feature.
Is there currently any supported way to restore or access it?
Came here to say this. They basically released something that is notoriously inferior. Why would I want Codex in the same app? This is just ridiculous, but more importantly, where is this recording button? Seems that they removed it.
Same here: I love that both apps merged but I really hope they bring back meeting recordings, especially now if codex mode could then also access the transcripts it would be amazing !!!
I was using it quite often and the fact they have removed is really disappoining, the article on the page could be at least updated that it’s not available in the new app…
