Can we please please please get an MCP server refresh for Codex CLI so I don’t have to keep exiting to a shell and relaunching Codex with my previous session just because I loaded a different file in IDA and had to restart the MCP server?

Check the Codex commits on GitHub, you might see some changes along what you seek.
If not then search the issues or enhancements and give them a thumbs up.
If you do not find your request noted then you can always open a new issue with the label enhancement.
