MCP Connector being disconnected after initial invokation

2 issues
I have a custom MCP Connector connected.

1. the chat looses access to all apps/tools after invoking my tool once. This tool is a read tool that pulls document contents into it’s context window. but it shouln’t cause the session to loose access to all apps/tools.
2. Even if it doesn’t loose access, I’m required to attach it on every turn.

I had already raised a similar issue about 2 weeks ago, with absolutely no response from the OpenAI team.

MCP connected but not invokable

hey. I completely trimmed my MCP result. this is now happening in my 1st tool invokation too. it says connector schema visible but callable function not present. can I please directly talk to someone at OpenAI? would love to debug this with them. this is extremely dissappointing for a company of this size to not get basic MCP integration right. even more so when official connectors like Canva and Notion work perfectlly.

Please get back to me if this is fixed, or if I’m doing something wrong.
