Lost conversation by editing the first message of the conversation

I noticed that having a lot of messages in a conversation significantly increases the loading time. Additionally, I realized that editing a message causes the subsequent conversation to be deleted. However, what I didn’t consider was that the memory of the corresponding conversation would also be erased when editing a message. I believe it’s not a good idea to remove the previous memory solely based on message edits. What if we only want to modify a single message without affecting the conversation that follows?
