I tried to use chatgpt for language learning for my mother, I created a project for language learning, asking in customization to fix her grammar when she makes mistakes, and be a language partner, translating things she does not understand.
I tried few times and even tried adjusting the prompts but it seems like i could not make chatgpt follow any instructions.
example:
she asked in Polish something, and chatgpt just kept translating the question.
she tried to say, dont translate the question give me an anwer, but llm ignored it completely.
then she spoke english, Bad english, but had no correction comment from LLM instead it said good job . . .
etc. etc.
I remember chatgpt 4 used to be better at this .
