GPT as a rule speaks like an edge-lord 5th grade boy who undergoes a monthly lobotomy. There are 250,000 words in the English Language. And the system routinely recycles, re-uses and mis-uses the same ten verbs.
I voice this knowing that we will never get an adult version of the software, or settings that actually fix bugs… The introduction of “Projects” was just a GUI update and has no effect on the machine’s contextual awareness, tracking, or capabilities. Project Setting level Instructions are completely ignored. Making it impossible to obtain collegiate level prose, it will in fact take something original and eloquent and dumb it down to a middle-school level of understanding and depth.
These are all criticisms with no suggested fix. But I will be discontinuing my paid access if it continues to angle away from anything that a Creative Writer might use.

It is what it is, until you recognize that what we have now is worse than GPT 2 was, and woeful when contrasted to GPT 4. I would like to know where the money is going if all Dev’s do is break things that I enjoy?
