Lightweight memory + time-aware proactivity for game dev workflows

As a mobile game developer, I’d find it extremely helpful if ChatGPT had lightweight memory with time-aware proactivity.

Specifically, I’d love the ability for ChatGPT to:

  • Acknowledge recent interactions (“We worked on a game meta update today.”)
  • Recall short-term context (“You mentioned it went live.”)
  • Log internal notes or “reminders” (“Note to self: Ask in a week how the KPIs are performing.”)
  • Proactively check in after that time (“It’s been 7 days—any numbers yet?”)

This would turn ChatGPT into a true assistant—not just a reactive tool—without needing a complex task system or third-party calendar.

In dev work, this could track version launches, player feedback cycles, performance metrics, and more.
It would be incredibly useful and still lightweight enough not to require full memory or scheduling APIs.

Welcome!

Persistent memory is very useful (and used often) but it is not the same thing as understanding time and following up on things discussed at a later date. It turns reactive into proactive!
