Left Pane Organizing (Chat Sesssion)

Hi,
Currently, the Chat Sessions on the Left Pane of Chat GPT is by default sorted by last updated/recently used.
It’s difficult to manage many ongoing topics/projects.

I think it would be great if it can be organized per folder and sorted ascending like attached image.

Suggested improvements:

  • Custom folders/groups for chats
  • Expand/collapse sections
  • Manual drag-and-drop organization
  • Default A–Z sorting option
  • Pinning important chats
  • Separate “Recent” and “Archived” sections

Left Panel organizational system similar to Notion or Obsidian style would massively improve usability and productivity.

Hi @multiaji, that’s a valid ask.

I’ll make sure the feedback is surfaced to the engineering team so they can evaluate whether it’s something worth implementing.
