Introducing the Data Agent for ChatGPT Work

Now everyone can put data to work.

We’re introducing a new Data agent in ChatGPT Work so you can turn your company’s data into answers, interactive dashboards, and action—just by asking.

Just add the Data Plugin in ChatGPT Work, connect to the data sources and context you already use, and start the conversation.

Here are a few examples what the Data Agent can do and how it works:

  • Connects to existing sources: Including Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, MongoDB, Google Drive, and SharePoint.

  • Uses your company’s definitions: Incorporates established metrics, calculations, and data relationships to interpret results.

  • Works with existing BI tools: Including Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, and ThoughtSpot. Dashboards can be edited, shared, and refreshed.

  • Respects access controls: Admins manage connections and availability; existing table, row, and column permissions apply.

  • Can act on findings: Share results through Slack or email and perform approved actions through connected tools.

Getting started: Install Data from the ChatGPT Work Plugins directory, connect your sources, and ask a question using @Data.
