Internet browsing enabled, but it doesn't seem to work. How to fix?

Hello all,

As a ChatGPT plus user, I noticed that I now have the ability to enable internet browsing beta feature. However, if I ask ChatGPT to look up a web page or do anything internet-related, I get the stock answer.

“As of my last training data in September 2021, I don’t have the ability to perform real-time internet searches”

Is this feature actually working?

It does not appear to be working, I see the same behavior.

Yeah, seems to be broken for me also. I asked a few complex question and then a very simple weather forecast question twice and it failed to provide any replies :frowning:

Guessing they are getting hammered and maybe they just don’t have the bandwidth to handle the load?

Did you enable the beta feature?

To enable beta features:

  1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’

  2. Select ‘Beta features’

  3. Toggle on the features you’d like to try

I added the beta feature and it will search the web 10% of the time and refuse 90%.

I enabled the beta feature and when I’m asking Chat GPT-4 it tells me that it sitll has noch access to the internet.
What can I do?
