Wishlist for the ChatGPT sidebar …

Let ChatGPT access sidebar organization and conversation titles: Allow ChatGPT access to my sidebar so it can help me find past conversations easily. It struggles at times to find past conversations.

Undesired repositioning in sidebar: When I click on a past chat the sidebar scrolls me all the way to the stop occasionally (where my projects folders reside) and not show the contents of the conversation I just clicked on. This gets extremely annoying … especially when it took you a while to find the past conversation which you just clicked on.

Give ChatGPT access to my Projects folder. What is the point in grouping conversations if ChatGPT can’t see how I’ve grouped them. I might have wanted to combine several thoughts/conversations into a larger conversations with ChatGPT. I thought that is what the Projects folders did (grouped conversations together so ChatGPT can see I want to discuss all these topics in a broader since now. However, it states it has no access to my sidebar history and cannot see how I’ve organized my SideBar Projects. ChatGPT agrees that it doesn’t make sense for it to not be able to access our projects folder structure.

Rough Dates for past conversations: would be nice if there was an occasional date on the conversations. I was trying to find something in the 2024 history. 2024 history is no longer grouped by date but just dumped into one big category called 2024. If i knew a conversations I had was around Nov/Dec timeframe, I have no way to find that timeframe because conversations are not grouped by month in years other than the current year.
