Hi friends,
Does anyone know how to make an API call to DALL·E 3 that generates an image using the same technology and quality as when we click the “Create image” button here in ChatGPT?
I’ve been trying to get this working since it launched, but I haven’t found a way to achieve the same result.
If anyone has the correct approach or the full working setup, I’d really appreciate it!
Please share everything — endpoints, payload format, headers, anything that helps 
As far as I’m aware it’s not labelled as DALL-E and the new Image Gen hasn’t yet been released on the API. Watch Announcements for updates.
Echoing @merefield’s post, even dall-e-2 and dall-e-3 are different models. There is no info about image_gen. Calling dall-e-3 on API, you cannot create like image-gen quality:
