IBKR Connector always returns "We couldn't connect your account"

I successfully connected my Interactive Brokers (IBKR) account in ChatGPT, and the connector appears as connected.

However, every request fails immediately with the following error:

“We couldn’t connect your account. Please try again.”

Examples:

  • Retrieve account summary
  • Retrieve positions
  • Retrieve balances

All of them return the same error.

What I have already tried:

  • Disconnecting and reconnecting the IBKR connector
  • Verifying that the connector still shows as connected
  • Retrying from a new chat

The issue appears to occur before any account data is returned.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the IBKR connector?

Could you check whether you're able to reconnect the app from https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Connectors?

It’s working now. I think the issue was caused by IBKR, not the ChatGPT side.
