I am new here and am working on learning to use GPTs as a website Chatbot. My end goal is to have a chatbot on my WordPress website that will be accessible to any visitor. I will also use a ChatGPT GPT that I customized and does not require the visitor to sign in to ChatGPT.

I believe I need to use an API and a WordPress plugin to have someone come to a website and interface with my GPT without signing in to ChatGPT. Recommendation on the next step?

GPTs are a consumer product which can only be addressed through https://chatgpt.com.

To have a chatbot on a different website you control, you’ll need to build it from scratch using OpenAI’s APIs.

It is not possible to access a GPT through an API.
