Same problem here, requests keep getting queued
Hello! I know this issue has been addressed before, but they have also been marked as solved even though I have been experiencing the thread runs being queued until they expire. The most topics that cover this same issue also were from over one year ago?
It seems to work very inconsistently from day to day, but for the last hours it has been almost impossible to run my application. It occasionally does one tool call (function), but it stops at the second run and I get this error message: “The server had an error processing your request. Sorry about that!..”
Am I the only one experiencing this issue? I only use function calling as the assistants tool, and have 4 functions. My system prompt is fairly long, but since I haven’t changed anything since yesterday it should still work fine? I would love to hear if you guys are seeing the same thing as me. Thanks in advance!
Yes similar issues for us with applications that are in production with customers! Giving the user a message in the app “The large language model isn’t responding at the moment. Please try again in a few minutes” doesn’t go down well with SaaS clients!

I have the same issue, lots of problems when creating new runs or threads. Sometimes there’s no response from the server at all, and other times I see a simple message:
“The server had an error processing your request. Sorry about that! You can retry your request, or contact us through our help center at help.openai.com”
Currently, the Assistant API is unusable in production. I had to disable all the assistants I had created. Sometimes I wait 3-4 minutes for a server response, if any response comes at all.

To me it seems to be geo related. Same code works great for me in Germany, but fails for my colleague in France.
Anyone else observing this behaviour?

it might be related to number of assistants, my other account with less assistant count works fine.
Maybe this just a speculation, but same issue in Austin TX
Even https://platform.openai.com/assistants not loading assistants or takes forever to load one page, yet OpenAI Status shows all systems operational
Same, many users reporting assistant API calls timeout issues, etc. is there any reported outage or known issue that could be degrading experience?
