I use Assistants API for my project for a long time. But for the last few months it is not stable at all.
These days I see my requests are responded very slow by Assistants API. I don’t know why but it is for all my requests. Even a Hello message responded in 3-5 seconds for GPT-4o.
Anyone experiencing the same? Any solution?
I’m experiencing the same. Its been very frustrating to be honest, since I have not found any solution.
I have a few chatbots connected to assistants API which are built using no code tools, therefore if the answer of the model takes more than 10 secs these no code tools get a null response and send an error message to the user, very bad.

Same here. I’m Tier 3 using assistants. The time for running an assistant on a thread is currently up to 5 minutes!!
The average in the last two weeks was about 20 seconds, but today it has increased dramatically, with users having to wait between 3 - 5 minutes on average!
Do you have any recommendations to improve the runtime of assistants? Or simply using a different method?
