I am from India .I am unable to get 5 USD free credit upon signup , and hence unable to use the open ai api key I have created. Please help urgently.

As far as I am aware, they phased out the free credits earlier this year. They now use a prepaid pricing model.

are you sure you get 5 USD free credits on sign up? i don’t think I got that

As others have indicated, OpenAI phased this out early this year and you no longer receive free credits at sign-up. In order to start using the API you now need to add a minimum of USD 5 of your own funds to your developer account.
