It is advertised on the OpenAI API website that tier 5 gives you access to o1. Their website clearly states that tier 5 gives you o1 access. And yet, here we are. What is going on here?
It just startes rolling out didn’t it?
Check if you’re you have the correct org selected in case you have more than one.
In my case, when I got access, I received an email with the subject:
Announcing OpenAI o1 in the API
I am in Europe, same situation, probably we need to make europe great again
o1 rollout is about ~80% complete within tier 5; we’re planning to wrap it up soon! You’ll get an email once you have access.
Don’t you guys already have access to o3 internally? It’s insane that I’m confined to using gpt-4o. What’s the logic here?
Hey edwinarbus, i spent all this money it might not be a lot for other people but it was for me because your website clearly states that a tier 5 user will have access and i still don’t. not to mention i also pay for gpt pro so I’m pretty disappointed that i still cant use o1 via api. any change you can add o1 to my account? i really wouldn’t have added all these credits to my account if i would have knew i would get access to o1 via the api. i think its very much false advertising from you guys and i think you should have a disclaimer on the o1 page saying that you wont get access to o1 till your invited to.
Same here. This is outrageous. I paid for a service based on its advertising and I’m not receiving the service I paid for.
Still nothing changed within 10 days. We got Tier 5 on January 20 and have not access to o1. Can anybody from OpenAI help please?
Microsoft is now giving o1 access for free to CoPilot users. Meanwhile Tier 5 developers who paid $1000 to OpenAI STILL do not have access, despite clear advertising to the contrary, which has sat unchanged for months.
OpenAI. Do something about this.

I just paid to upgrade to Tier 3 based on the above link, but I still don’t have access. Is there any plan to grant o1 access to Tier 3 users? The link seems incorrect. If so, can I receive a reimbursement?
