How to prevent ChatGPT from pasting images every time I paste text?

I’m running ChaTGPT in a multitude of browsers.

I think, sometime last year, if you copy text from anywhere outside of ChatGPT itself, ChatGPT has “smartly” decided to paste an image of the text every single time. Why this has been chosen as a feature is anyone’s guess.
Is there any way to prevent this behaviour?

I ran a search before posting this, and came up with no relevant results. There was one for Mac, but that was about text not appearing at all. This is a Windows issue (AFAIK).

Here is what works for me. Instead of using the ChatGPT app, create a web app in Edge or Chrome. If you copy and paste content from Outlook or Note, it still paste the image AND text vs. just the image. That works for me.
