How do I force Slack connector reauthentication in Codex?

I’m trying to switch the Slack connector to a different Slack workspace/account, but disconnecting and reconnecting does not seem to trigger a clean OAuth login. It appears to keep reusing the old Slack login/workspace.

What I tried - many times:

  • I removed and re-added the Slack connector
  • I signed out of Slack, disconnected ChatGPT apps
  • I disconnected any Slack connection from ChatGPT

I tried so many times until my Slack integration now returns an error lol:
UNAUTHORIZED: McpServerError: invalid_token

Question:
How do I force Codex/ChatGPT to fully reauthenticate the Slack connector, clear the old OAuth state, and choose a new Slack workspace/account?

I saw this thread, but the solutions suggested don’t seem applicable to Slack.

Disconnect the Slack app in your web account settings, log out of Codex, and then log back in to trigger a new login screen.
