I heard about it on the internet, but I feel it as well. I use chatgpt daily for programming related tasks and had AMAZING success with it. A literal productivity boost of at least 500% or so, since I don’t have to waste time with bs code anymore. But in the last 1-2 weeks it continuously made mistakes, especially on tasks that were solved without issues, first try, before.
Today I let it transform/augment some csv document containing japanese words, and it literally made some typos. What the hell? Is this gpt 2 or 4? And I’m not talking about the japanese tokens. The romaji transcription, that was given, was copied wrongly. “suteki” became “steki”. “himana” became “himanai”. That is insane.
