Gptbot is ddos me and scan my website in a suspect way

Hi,

the gptbot is doing very strange request on my website. Here a part of my access log and error log. Each add to wishlist request consume some server ressources

As you can see it try to display content of folder wp-content/uploads too (very very suspect).

It’s almost the same user agent except that it’s missing a closing parenthesis ")’

And well an ip of the gptbot https://openai.com/gptbot.json

I know that a person with bad intentions can set the user agent hi want. But can he use the ip of someone else ?

Few days ago. It was another bot who does exactly the samething, named MJ12bot.

What do you think about ?

if request from gpt bot, deny
