I was amazed to see the quality and type of images that are rendered by chat, using DALL-E. In some cases, I even wonder if some of these images are a playground for specific tastes.
I say this because I made a request - I asked chat to create a pixel art image of of a glass suction tool with a wooden handle connected to two black rubber suction cups on each end, shown in a 3/4 angled side view, isolated on transparent background.
It actually took at least 10 different attempts in new chats each time to FINALLY get the image delivered. And what is most surprising is that THREE of these times the system came back with “Content Violation”. I have attached three of the images that the thing produced, early on.
WTH is going on between the Open AI system when 1) it cannot create a “C” shape connected to two “D” shapes (to form a handle connected to two suction cups) and, 2) it blocks the creation three times (once showing the image and in a “RED” message telling me that there is a content violation.) GEEZUS.
