That just shows GPT-5 Thinking Pro has a different setting that GPT-5 Thinking. Will they not share it on the API?

Currently, there is no an API named GPT-5 Thinking Pro.

Again, I know it doesn’t exist. My questions are 1) why not and 2) are there plans to make it available.

I’ll do some research on the upcoming models OpenAI has planned and if they have them planned and I’ll lyk what’s found, but 5 is really new so we probably won’t see another bigger model for a lil while, but it’s always good to stay on top of things for sure, ai advances so fast and it is curious as to how they’ll handle models vs token use and cost in the future in relation to the evolution of the models
There is only one lesson to learn with AI: settling for good enough is the only way to migrate to a fully AI-dependent world.
